What was the highlight of The Park Hotel, Chiang Mai
A fantastic hotel with wonderful staff in a great location.
The staff in the breakfast room were fantastic, especially the two greeters. The breakfast buffet was varied and the coffee to the table never ended. Mr Paul was awesome. He helped us get a private car and driver and was alway helpful and friendly. The corner room we had was wonderful. We loved the decor, it was like staying in a classy hotel of a bygone era. Our room was well cleaned every day. The pool on the roof was wonderful after a day of sightseeing. There was great internet bandwidth throughout the building. We were thankful for the airport shuttle, they picked us up and took us back to airport. Each night there is a free shuttle to the night market. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The area and chairs around the pool could use a bit of a cleaning so it matched the rest of the hotel.

We felt so special checking in to find a fruit basket and a...
We felt so special checking in to find a fruit basket and a goodie bag waiting for us. The location was good. A little out of city but the hotel provided free tuk tuk to the night market. The roof top swimming pool and bar was so nice. The breakfast had a wide variety of food to choose from including waffles, omelets, bacon, ham, croissants, cinnamon buns, cereal and traditional Thai breakfast food. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful. Great value !!

The place to stay in Chiang Mai
It's a fabulous hotel 20 mins walk or a 100 Baht tuk tuk ride away from the old town. Spacious room, very comfortable bed, fresh fruit in the room every day, fantastic roof top swimming pool, 2 bags of goodies on arrival, good breakfast choices. The most amazing at the Park are the staff. Just to point out two of them: Paul from reception, who personally accompanied us to the bus station to get the right bus and was very helpful throughout our stay, and Mona from breakfast service, who looked after us in the most friendly way. We had such a great time there and do recommend this hotel very strongly.

Children in the near school might be a bit noisy in the early morning hours, depending on the location of the room.
